Spouses/Family/Significant Others

Written by Host on August 12, 2008 – 12:48 am -

Spouses, family, and/or significant others are welcome to join you on your trip! There is a lot to see and do in Charleston!

They are also welcome to come tour the Seacoast Church facilities, attend the offsite dinners/events (Oct. 7th and Oct. 9th), and the onsite dinner/worship experience (Oct. 8th).

We ask that the onsite lunches be only attended by RoundTable participants, since these would be times for fellowship between peers.

Weather

Written by Host on June 5, 2008 – 4:07 pm -

October in the Charleston area is a beautiful time of the year. The melting heat and sticky humidity of the summer has faded, and the nights are cool. Water temperature is still in the mid-to-upper 70s. Also, the peak of hurricane season has passed!

Here are the averages for the Charleston area in October:

Air Travel

Written by Host on June 5, 2008 – 2:42 pm -

Most of you will be flying into Charleston International Airport (CHS), here are the driving directions to Seacoast Church.

You can also fly into Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE), Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR), or Savannah / Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) to possibly save a little money. They are each about 2 hours drive away.

Airtran is the discount airline flying in to/out of Charleston. It maybe a slight travel hassle, but you might be able to save by taking one airline into Atlanta, and then switch to Airtran for the flight into Charleston. Right now Airtran’s price from Atlanta to Charleston is $111 (6/5).

Recently, airlines have been raising prices for multiple reasons, so get your tickets soon! Make sure to use travel websites to help save money: Microsoft Farecast, Travelocity, Expedia, Priceline, etc.

Got any other travel cost saving tips, or looking to share a ride from/to the airport, leave a comment on this post.
